This year, new for AW21, Frugi’s coordinating Back to School range is just beautiful and there are some absolutely gorgeous new prints and styles! We fell in love with the Rainbow Skies print for Adalena, it’s bright and cheerful and perfect for walking to Preschool in the impending Autumn rain! 🍂 🌧
The Frugi outerwear collection is made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles, did you know, a whopping 20 plastic bottles are used to make their Puddle Buster coat in size 5-6 years! ♻️
Frugi Puddle Buster coats are waterproof to 10,000HH, they have elasticated cuffs and hood edges and are lined with recycled polyester fleece to keep little ones warm and dry. They also have a zip guard to protect their little chins and a poppered storm flap covering the zip for extra protection. There are two outer storm flap pockets for their treasure and a handy hanging loop and name badge inside – perfect for School and Preschool! Puddle Busters come in sizes 1-2 years right up to 9-10 years and all have reflective print details on the cuffs for visibility on darker days.
The coordinating Frugi Puddle Buster wellies are super soft, flexible and made with natural rubber with a soft cotton lining. They are PVC free, comfortable and perfect for keeping little feet warm and dry in the rain and of course whilst they jump in all those puddles! They have cleated soles and a small Frugi badge on the side and come in UK kids size 4 (EU21) up to size 2 (EU34)
The Frugi Little Adventurers backpack is the cutest little bag and the perfect size for little ones to carry all by themselves, with a snack pocket on the front and a main compartment, which is the perfect size for the coordinating Frugi Splish Splash steel water bottle to fit inside!
It comes with a removable rein that can be clipped onto the D-ring on the back to keep little ones close by, aswell as adjustable chest and shoulder straps and a padded back for comfort. There is a carry handle and hanging loop on the top and a handy name badge on the back. Just like the Puddle Buster coat, it is made from recycled plastic bottles and also has reflective details for visibility on darker days. The fabric can be wiped clean but is not waterproof.
The 400ml Frugi Splish Splash steel water bottle will keep thirsty little ones hydrated, the fun prints and durable design is perfect for School and Preschool. It is made from steel so it’s rust and stain proof and has a wide, easy sip opening and a screw top lid. The handy carry loop keeps the lid attached to the bottle and prevents it from getting lost – there is also space on the bottom to write a name – again perfect for School and Preschool! It is not suitable for the dishwasher, it’s hand wash only.
Larger sizes for older kids and adults available
The new Frugi Back to School range also includes coordinating waterproof trousers, all in ones, gilets, hats, good to go bags which are perfect for PE or swimming kits, and of course lunchboxes, pencil cases, wallets and larger back packs for older children.
We have always loved Frugi ever since Adalena was tiny, the bright colours and cheerful prints were what first attracted me, and then I found out that all Frugi clothing is GOTS certified organic which is soft, kinder to skin and more durable, so the clothes we buy can still be passed on and loved again even after Adalena has outgrown them – which means less clothing in landfill! ♻️🌈🔆🌧
