We were sent the Hape Toys 2in1 World Tour Puzzle and Game to test out as a family, find out how we got on here.
The 2in1 Puzzle and Game is suitable from 5 years+, the puzzle has 100 large pieces, and it comes complete with a wooden dice and 4 wooden counters for the game. It also comes with a world poster.
First, you have to build the puzzle of the world, the illustrations are bright and colourful and feature lots of images of people and animals native to each continent – it even features Father Christmas in the North Pole!
It took Serena, Darian and Daddy about 20 minutes to build the entire puzzle first time around, they all enjoyed working together to build it – you can use the poster to help you.
When the puzzle is complete, you can then play a game using the wooden dice and 4 counters that come with it.
The game is really simple and fun to play for all the family, you travel around the world and the winner is the first to reach the end. The game took around 20 minutes to complete with 3 players.
In total the 2in1 Puzzle and Game provided around 40 minutes of entertainment in one go, which is brilliant as it meant they spent nearly an hour working and playing together to build the puzzle and play the game.
I love finding quality things to do together as a family that don’t involve screens, and this was no disappointment, I would definitely recommend it for families with children who are 5 years or older, the Puzzle and Game is well made and has quality feel to it, I’m sure it will become a firm favourite in our house over the coming years.
